Casa Gran

Artist Residency in Rural Mallorca

A farmhouse in Sa Pobla offering one-month residencies for artists working in printmaking. Eight private rooms, shared studio space, and the quiet inspiration of rural northern Mallorca — just minutes from beaches, mountain towns, and the creative energy of the island.

The Location

Casa Gran sits in Sa Pobla, a working agricultural town in northern Mallorca. This is rural Mallorca at its most authentic — markets filled with local produce, narrow streets of honey-colored stone, and the rhythm of a community that's been here for centuries.

Yet you're not isolated. The town plaza is a 10-minute walk, beaches are 15 minutes by car, and Palma is 50 minutes by train. You have access to the entire island while maintaining the focus and quiet that creative work requires.

Northern Mallorca is known for dramatic coastlines, outstanding cycling routes through almond groves and vineyards, and historic towns like Alcúdia and Pollença with their own galleries, restaurants, and creative communities.

Partnership with EDICIÓ

Casa Gran operates in partnership with EDICIÓ, an ultra-luxury creative atelier specializing in limited-edition art, bespoke publishing, and artisanal design. This partnership offers residents the opportunity to have their work professionally published and distributed.

What This Means for Residents

Residents may apply to have their work published by EDICIÓ as limited-edition prints. If selected, EDICIÓ handles all production costs, professional certification, and distribution through their gallery network in London and beyond.

This is optional — you can complete your residency purely as studio time, or you can pursue publication. Artists who are published share revenue from print sales and are featured in EDICIÓ's annual journal.
